Operation Details:

Step 1: Vehicle (Truck) reaches the factory’s gate and stops at the Security Checkpoint. The Security Guard enters/writes details (Vehicle Number Plate, Material, Driver Name etc.) of the load onto an RFID card and hands it over to the Driver.

Step 2: The driver reaches the Weighbridge. The traffic light is currently ‘Green’. The driver scans the RFID card at the Weighbridge, it opens up the Boom Barrier to allow the vehicle to be parked onto the Weighbridge. The traffic light turns ‘Red’ once the Vehicle is parked and the weighment is happening. Once the weight stabilizes, the printer at the Weighbridge prints out the weight of the vehicle along with the picture of the Vehicle from front, back, top , capturing its number plate as well. If the RFID card is blank/faulty, the speaker will inform the driver of that.

Step 3: After the print of the weighment is complete, the exit traffic light changes the color from ‘Red’ to ‘Green’ indicating to the driver to drive off of the weighbridge. The speaker at the Weighbridge also instructs the driver to drive off of the weighbridge.

Step 4: Once the driver has unloaded/loaded the vehicle, he will again come back to the same Weighbridge but from the opposite direction this time. The driver will scan the same RFID card at the Weighbridge, opening up the boom barrier, changing the traffic light from ‘Red’ to ‘Green’ and the exact same steps as above would be repeated for the same vehicle but in the opposite direction completing the Gross/Tare/Net weighment for the given vehicle.
